First off, I’m just some guy whose breath has been taken away by the staggering audacity and arrogance of organised religion. Secondly, I’m constantly amazed by the things that normal, law-abiding, honest people will do in the name of someone they’ve never met and, frankly, never will meet.
I’m a family man, wife and 2 fantastic kids (well, one and one on the way), decent job, nice house and I don’t want for anything except the newest item to roll from the Apple production lines.
I setup this blog to record the things relevant to me and the bible. I’ve got a bible now and I’m reading through it. I don’t expect to understand as much as I’d like: I’ve got friends on hand to help me with the crazier bits, I’m hoping anyone reading this might stop by and drop off their two cents worth, other than that, it’ll serve as a record of my journey from one end of the the book to the other.
Will I be converted on the other side … ?
